Today in this post I am going to talk about a newly launched product. You know guys Lakme has launched a whole Naturale Range of products. The range included makeup and skincare products both and of all these products there is one product which I really wanted to try. It is a skincare product. I was very excited to try this product since Lakme launched the Naturale range. So I bought this and tried on my skin and here I am going to do a review of this product. I am talking about the Lakme 9 to 5 Naturale Aloe Aqua Gel which is actually an aloe vera gel. So in this post, I am going to do a full review of this gel, so keep reading.

PACKAGING
The packaging of the gel is very beautiful. The whole naturale range reminds me of nature. The gel comes in a plastic container or jar which looks very rich and fancy. The jar comes with an outer cardboard packaging with all the details and price mentioned over it which is green ombre in color which by the way looks very beautiful, sometimes it looks green and sometimes it looks pink which is super cute.

The container is made of plastic so it is travel-friendly also. Overall packaging is very cute but for the hygiene purpose, it is not so good because I have to dip my fingers every time when I take the product. If it came in a tube it would be good.

TEXTURE / CONSISTENCY
The gel is light green in color and the texture is very light. It is not like other aloe vera gels which are available in the market. It has a non-sticky formula which is very good and absorbs quickly in the skin.

One of the big claims is that it actually works as a primer, we all know that we can use aloe vera gel as a primer but here Lakme is saying that it actually gives you primer like benefits. It is the perfect canvas for your daily skincare & makeup.
WHAT I EXPERIENCED
First of all, I really like the packaging. I use this every day in my night time skincare routine and I am seeing amazing results. My face doesn’t break out after applying this and it gives a natural glow to my face which is great. This has 100% pure aloe vera which I liked about this product most. This is very light in texture and has non-sticky formula so your skin will not feel greasy or oily after applying this.
This gel blends in the skin within no time and it has a very mild fragrance which by the way I like a lot. This aloe aqua gel completely soothes and hydrates the skin. My skin feels so soft after applying this and it has not paraben which is amazing. I used this as a primer for sure and I was shocked to see the results, the makeup on my face stayed for 4 to 5 hours so it has primer like properties. You can easily use this gel as a primer. But if you use this gel in your DIYs this will finish in 4th or 5th time because the quantity they provide is very less and the price is also a little high for an aloe vera gel.
So this is the only thing I don't like about it. Otherwise, I love this product, it says that this gel protects from city pollution, honestly, I can not give my opinion on this because I don't go outside much. But it works as a primer so it kind of present a barrier in between our face and makeup.

However, it is an aloe vera gel so you can use it in many ways:-

-as a night cream
-as an aftershave balm
-as a hair mask
SKIN SUITABILITY
This will suit all skin types. If you have sensitive skin then please do a patch test first before using it and if you are allergic to aloe vera then you can skip this gel.

CONCLUSION
So guys, I really liked this product for my soft and smooth skin. If you are a teenager or in college and you can not find any primer in your budget then you can definitely use this gel as a primer. And if you also want a light moisturizer which soothes your skin at the same time hydrates your skin then I will highly recommend you to try this one at least one. But if you are so much in DIYs or use aloe vera in your DIYs then this is not for you guys because the quantity is very less.
